Salem's Choirs
The Choirs – the primary role of any Church choir is to lead the congregation’s singing of the hymns and liturgy, and Salem’s choirs are no different. In addition to this vital role, they also provide additional music at various points in the service.
• Early Risers Choir provides music for the traditional service.
• Senior Choir sings primarily at the Festival Service, but occasionally at the other services as well. A variety of music is performed. The choir sometimes performs special cantatas for Easter or Christmas.
• Youth Choir sings occasionally for the Festival Service as well as participating in the cantatas.
• The new Chime Choir has organized and is rehearsing on Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 7:00 pm.

Salem's DASH Strategy
Discipleship -To provide opportunities for our members to grow in their faith and to take on active roles in the life of the church. To create new leaders within the church and to increase our presence in the spiritual life of our community.
Assimilation - To nurture and support each other as we integrate new members into the congregation, providing a welcoming worship experience with opportunities for fellowship. To reach out to inactive members and visitors so that they are encouraged to join us in discipleship.
Service - “The church is the church only when it exists for others…” says Dietrich Bonnhoffer. We reflect God’s love when we serve others. This encompasses our everyday actions as well as our more organized efforts.
Heart – To provide all the resources necessary to meet the vision for the ministry of the Gospel by Salem Lutheran Church. This includes faith, hope, love, courage, and the commitment of time, talents, and treasures by the people of God.
