Dearly Beloved,
Grace and peace to you from our Lord. Jesus Christ.
Remember as a young child hearing the stories told of strong Samson and deceitful Delilah, of Joseph and his coat of many colors, of Cain and his brother jealous Abel, of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego being thrown into the fiery furnace ? Then of course there were the stories of David and the huge giant Goliath, of Daniel being thrown into the lions’ den, of Elijah’s contest over the pagan priests of Baal at Mount Carmel. and of Noah and his ark. What wonderful stories!
This summer we will be revisiting each of these Old Testament classics. Starting Sunday, July 1st and running through Sunday August 19th these “old, old stories” will be told to our children during STORY TIME. We will reflect on the timeless truths which emerge from these “stories of old” during MESSAGES FROM GOD. The MUSIC will delight your soul and glorify the Lord. Young and old will find worship during Summer Fest 2007 to be meaningful and moving, instilling and inspiring.
