Dearly Beloved,

    “O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good;
    His steadfast love endures forever!”                    Psalm 118:1

    The Lord has richly and abundantly blessed    and enriched us as a congregation. Time after time, event after event, person after person “His face has shown upon us.”  For the last eight years we have experienced “his light and love” in and through our beloved Minister of Music, Sara Knoles.  As of November 1st, Sara is moving to Fort Lauderdale.  Though our hearts are saddened by this news, yet we pray God’s blessing upon her as she continues her spiritual journey.  What a gift Sara is.  She is and will be forever dear to us.  She has profoundly touched us spiritually.  When she plays the piano or organ, Sara plays not with her fingers but with her faith.  When she conducts the choir, she does so not with her hands, but with her heart.  When she sings, Sara sings not with her lips but with the love of her Lord.  Sara is a gift that cannot be replaced, but can be forever cherished and treasured.  Once she was ours and now another congregation will so be blessed like we have been. 

    Plans are being made to have a special reception honoring Sara and recognizing her ministry on Sunday, October 21st following 10:30 worship.  Mark your calendars now and make time to give thanksgiving.
