Contemporary Service:
Contemporary refers to a style of worship that emphasizes music to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ. We use the best of modern Christian praise songs, utilizing today’s media, which includes music on DVD’s, live amplified voices, projector and screen, drums and keyboard. This offering gathers at 9:15 a.m. on Sundays in the Sanctuary.
Traditional Service:
Traditional refers to a style of worship that is based on the Lutheran Book of Worship which emphasizes the proclamation of the gospel through the proclaiming of the Word and the sharing of the Sacrament. The time-honored hymns of the Christian community are sung in this service. Organ and piano are the principal instruments during this 8:00 a.m. worship opportunity.
Festival Service:
Festival refers to a style of worship that is often referred to as a “blended” service. This worship opportunity incorporates the best of traditional and contemporary liturgies and music. This worship opportunity gathers at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. Our Worship and Learning Opportunities

Salem's DASH Strategy
Discipleship -To provide opportunities for our members to grow in their faith and to take on active roles in the life of the church. To create new leaders within the church and to increase our presence in the spiritual life of our community.
Assimilation - To nurture and support each other as we integrate new members into the congregation, providing a welcoming worship experience with opportunities for fellowship. To reach out to inactive members and visitors so that they are encouraged to join us in discipleship.
Service - “The church is the church only when it exists for others…” says Dietrich Bonnhoffer. We reflect God’s love when we serve others. This encompasses our everyday actions as well as our more organized efforts.
Heart – To provide all the resources necessary to meet the vision for the ministry of the Gospel by Salem Lutheran Church. This includes faith, hope, love, courage, and the commitment of time, talents, and treasures by the people of God.
